Heritage Days 2013 Pie Baking Contest

Saturday, May 25, 2013 (All day)

Check-in 9:00 AM - All pies must be registered by 9:00 AM.

Located at the northeast corner of the historic courthouse lawn by the monument.
Judging will start at 9:30 AM.

Fruit pies only (no dairy products)
Disposable aluminum pie plates must be used.
Judging will be on the following criteria:

  • Flavor
  • Crust
  • Filling
  • Overall Appearance

Pontiac’s Heritage Days/Pre-War Festival

On Saturday, May 25th, the Livingston County Courthouse lawn and the downtown area will be filled with heritage crafters, Civil War re-enactors, and classic, pre-1941 transportation. The annual Pontiac P.R.O.U.D. Heritage Days sponsored by the Floyd A. & Alta I. Byrne Trust and the Pontiac-Oakland Automobile Museum’s Pre-War Festival will both take place on that day.

Dragonfly Art Studio to Host Open House and Art Exhibition

Dragonfly Art Studio will have an open house and art exhibition on display.

The studio is also offering a “Painting the Blue Flag Iris” class, painting on glass for a stained glass look, on April 27 from 10 a.m. – noon.

The art studio is on the second floor flat of the refurbished 1889 building at
102 Governor Oglesby Street in historic downtown Elkhart.
